So Many New Things...

It's been a while since I last wrote, and so much has happened. Jason went out of town for training for his new job! He was promoted to District Account Manager in Best Buy. Go Jason!!! He was away for a whole week! It wasn't easy, but I made it. I stayed with Jason's parents who helped me keep my sanity :) Hope is starting so many new things. She is scooting herself across the floor. She can't crawl yet, but she can sure get to where she wants to go! She has found her laugh and it is the sweetest thing ever! She squeals in joy at everything. What a happy baby. She has also found her thumb, which is a blessing to mommy because it helps Hope nap :) Here is some news with me. I recently found out that I have Celiac Disease. It's not a big deal. It just means my body can't digest gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, rye, and oats. So farewell to my favorite foods (Pizza Hut, Mac n Cheese, Cookie Dough) and hello to a new way of life...vegetables! Yesterday we went to Olive Garden to celebrate Jason's Dad's birthday. I was a good girl and ordered salad and grilled chicken, but man was I drooling over those breadsticks! Although it's sad to say goodbye, this will be good for me and my family.

Here are a few moments from the past few weeks.

Out to eat. My very last gluten meal...

We finally fit in this thing!

Daddy and Me Time

The other day, I walked into the livingroom to find this...

Normally, I don't really like or enjoy video games, but this moment was well worth having them around for! Hope is starting to reach for things and was mesmerized by the action on the TV and the cool remote Daddy was holding. It looked like she was actually playing :) I believe it was truly a team effort between the two of them!

So, I'm not sure how blogs work yet, so i don't know what to post. I'm kinda using this site as a way to keep everyone up to date on Hope :) and the rest of the family of course. Today was a productive day. I put a gate around our backyard garden, so Athena would stop bringing stickers into my house! I'm sure tomorrow I will spend hours riding the house of the millions she already brought me...sigh. I also bought a rug for our bedroom and some new shoes, but on to the important stuff...Hope is still sleeping in our room and I'm not sure when to put her into her own. I'm nervous to have her sleep so far away. I'm not sure why. Also, she is rolling herself over in her sleep. Both present issues for me, but i'm sure Jason would appreciate having our own room back. Any advice for me?
